A much-loved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, Wilma Jean Moore, 79, of Beaver, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on March 28, 2018. She had bravely confronted and fought cancer. She was born July 4, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan to Elmer and Louise Dillow, whom proceed her in death. Wilma received her Nursing Assistance certification at Vern Rife Joint Vocational. She was married to Bennie Moore of Beaver, whom proceeds her in death. After retirement Wilma was the proud owner of Salem Ridge Kennel, where she raised and cared for pomeranians. She was a member of the American Kennel Club. She is survived by her 3 sister's Joyce Atkins of Beaver, OH, Carol Morton of Mechanicsburg, OH, and Vickie Kays of Beaver, OH. She is proceeded in death by 1 brother, Richard Dillow. Wilma is also survived by all 5 of her children, Ben Jr. (Shelley) Moore of Latham, OH, Brenda (Ethan) Rankin of Jackson, OH, Rick (Penny) Moore of Friendship, OH, Danny (Missy) Moore of Connuet, OH, and Larry (Amanda) Moore of Beaver, OH. Also many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she loved very much. Wilma requested no services. The family wishes to give special thanks to the staff at Adena Cancer Center and Adena Hospice. Wilma will be truly missed, but never forgotten. Donations can be made in her name to Adena Cancer Center.
