Wanda Diane Rigsby

Wanda Diane Rigsby, age 68, of Beaver, Ohio, died Monday March 4, 2013 at the SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born October 22, 1944 in Portsmouth, Ohio, a daughter of the late Thomas and Elmira Grow Blair. Mrs. Rigsby was united in marriage February 8, 1964 to her husband, James "Mark" Rigsby, who preceded her in death January 29, 2013. Surviving are two sons, Mark Thomas (Margaret) Rigsby of Beaver, Ohio and Michael Todd Rigsby of Washington C.H., Ohio, one daughter, Melissa Jane (Doug) Hughes of Jackson, Ohio, seven grandchildren, Crystal Adkins, Zachary Rigsby, Justin Rigsby, Kelly Hughes, Dylan Rigsby, Michael Rigsby Jr. and Christopher Hughes, two great-grandchildren, Gregory Adkins and Allen Adkins, three sisters, Irene (Bill) Gregory of Springfield, Ohio, Elva (Tom) Conley of Waverly, Ohio and Bonnie (Phillip) Mossbarger of Waverly, Ohio, and a brother-in-law, Sam Tackett of Beaver, Ohio. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Tackett. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday March 9, 2013 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home with Rev. Marilyn Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaver Union Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
