Tommy Layne Schilling

Tommy Layne Schilling, age 23, of Beaver, Ohio, died 1:42 P.M. Saturday November 3, 2012 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born October 20, 1989 at the Scioto Memorial Hospital in Portsmouth, Ohio. Tommy was the son of Timothy Mack Schilling of Beaver, Ohio and Rhonda Layne Schilling of Wakefield, Ohio. Tommy was a 2008 graduate of Eastern Local High School, a member of the Orient Lodge #321 F.& A.M. of Waverly, and had recently completed Line Mechanic School at the Scioto County J.V.S. in Lucasville, Ohio. Tommy is survived by his parents Tim (Jennifer) Schilling and Rhonda Schilling and friend Steve Pettit, one brother Timothy Mack Schilling II, one sister, Winter Dawn Gallagher, two step - brothers, Cody Allen Hall and Tyler James Hall, grandparents, Janet Virginia Phipps of Beaver, Ohio and Virgil and Sharon Layne of Jasper, Ohio, great-grandparents, Clyde and Betty Hall of Waverly, Ohio, Aunt Brenda (Cary) Schrader of Beaver, Ohio, Aunt Donna Layne of Jasper, Ohio, cousins, Jenna (Derek) Brown, Hanna and Savana Schrader, Brandon Lawson, Brian Lawson, and Brittany Layne, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Tommy was preceded in death by his grandfather Tommy Mack Schilling and great-grandmother Nellie Walls. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday November 8, 2012 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Rex Higginbotham officiating. Burial will follow in the Schilling Family Cemetery on the family farm located on Brigner Hollow, just off Germany Road. Friends may call from 4-8:00 P.M. Wednesday November 7, 2012 at the funeral home, with a Masonic Service starting at 7:00 P.M. and conducted by the Orient Lodge #321 F.& A.M. of Waverly.
