Thomas "tom" R. Pennington

Thomas R. Pennington (Tom) went home to be with the Lord Friday morning December 21, 2012. He was born August 11, 1949 to William J. and Billie J. Pennington, who survive. On December 23, 1967, he was married to Anna Stollings Pennington and has three sons, Christopher (Victoria) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Colin (Emiley) of Chillicothe, Ohio and Corey (Shannon) of Chillicothe, Ohio. Tom was "Pa" to seven grandchildren, Jonah, Elliott, Caitlin, Emin, Quinn, Macey and Chase. He is also survived by his brother Stuart, sister Connie (Bob) Bobst, and step-mother, Peggy Pennington. Tom Served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era. He later returned to Ohio where he spent 27 years at the Uranium Enrichment Facility in Piketon. After spending time in the Financial Sector he returned to industry as District Director of Operations for American Water Systems before joining Piedmont Water in Georgia. He retired and returned to Ohio to enjoy time with his family. Memorial services will be 5:00 P.M. Wednesday December 26, 2012 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio.
