Thomas D. Conley, age 68, of Beaver, entered Heaven’s gates Sunday January 30, 2022. Tom was born September 1, 1953, the son of the late James and Ervina (Childers) Conley. On August 21, 1994 he was united in marriage to Elva Blair (Thompson) Conley who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Angela and Mary Conley of White Oak, Texas, two step-daughters, Cynthia Thompson of Salt Rock, West Virginia and Jennifer (Jimmy) Deaton of Beaver, and a step-son, Gary L. Thompson of Chillicothe, Ohio, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, seven brothers, Timothy (Carmela) of Mississippi, Wayne (Betty) of West Portsmouth, Ohio, Pemm (Connie) of White Oak, Texas, Roy of Lucasville, Ohio, Glenn (Elaine) and Mark (Lori) both of Jacksonville, Florida, and Paul of Portsmouth, Ohio, two sisters, Nancy (Chris) Garcia of Longview, Texas and Margaret Cole of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tom was a Navy Veteran having served in Vietnam.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday February 6, 2022 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Pastor John Reedy officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaver Union Cemetery with military graveside services conducted by the American Legion Merritt Post #142 of Waverly. Visiting hours will be held from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service Sunday at the funeral home. Due to COVID-19 concerns, the family respectfully requests those attending services to wear a mask.
