It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tammy Lynn Bobst Carnahan on August 20, 2025, at the age of 62. Tammy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and great-aunt, whose love and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Tammy’s life was filled with an enduring love for her two granddaughters, Kinley and Karley, and a shared passion for travel with her husband, Dennis. A true adventurer, she made it her mission to visit as many national parks as she could, achieving her goal of exploring many across the country.
In addition to her love of travel, Tammy was a dedicated and active member of her community. She founded the 226 CommUNITY page and volunteered with organizations like the Lions Club, where her commitment to others shined. For three years, she bravely fought Multiple Myeloma with remarkable strength and resilience, inspiring all who knew her.
Tammy’s career was dedicated to education and leadership. She began her journey at Scioto Valley Schools (Piketon) and later served as Principal at Darby Elementary and Enon Elementary, Assistant Superintendent at Greenon Local, and as the Executive Director of Human Resources at Forest Hills.
