Sterling Lewis Boggs

  Sterling Lewis Boggs, age 67, of Marengo, Ohio, died Friday October 12, 2018 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born August 30, 1951 in Pike County, Ohio, a son of the late Carl Louis and Rosa "Bea" Woods Boggs. Surviving are two sons, Sterling Louis Boggs (his mother Joyce Fitch) and Carl Lewis (Brooke) Boggs (his mother Karen Kearns), two grandsons, Sterling Louis Boggs and Brent Anthony Boggs, two granddaughters, Lola Jade Boggs and Lila Paige Boggs, one sister, Faith (Ace) Sammons, one nephew, A.C. (Kim) Sammons, one great-niece, Leah Marie Sammons, one great-nephew, Zeek Michael Sammons, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, David J. Sammons. Sterling was very honored to be a Freemason for many years. Memorial graveside services will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday October 20, 2018 in the Grandview Cemetery, located on Hay Hollow Rd., Chillicothe, Ohio. Burial will follow at the conclusion of services. Calling hours will not be observed. Arrangements are under the direction of the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio.
