Sherry Diane (Myers) Hurt

Sherry Diane Hurt, age 64, of Beaver, Ohio, died Saturday August 27, 2022 at her residence. She was born February 18, 1958 in Chillicothe, Ohio, a daughter of the late Robert Myers and Margaret Ann Rapp Myers. She is survived by her loving companion of over forty years, Russell E. Blevins of Beaver, Ohio, her children, Richard D. (Moria) Hurt of Columbus, Ohio, Christina Lynn Hurt of Beaver, Ohio, and Sean (Liz) Blevins of Columbus, Ohio, her grandchildren, Cheyenne, Jacob, Owen, Conner, Drake, and Ryker, her great-grandchildren, Nova and Cherokee, as well as one great-grandchild on the way, and three brothers, Robert (Victoria) Myers of Columbus, Ohio, Roger (Shannon Cesta) Myers of Columbus, Ohio, and Ronnie Meyers of Columbus, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William J. Blevins.

Sherry retired from DSW in Obetz, Ohio with over 20 years of service. She was a loving and caring woman.

Graveside services will be 1:30 P.M. Thursday September 1, 2022 in the Bethel Ridge Cemetery in Jackson, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 1:00 P.M. Thursday at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio.
