Ronald Smith Jr. Obituary

Ronald Lee "RL" Smith Jr. passed away February 19, 2017 at the SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born April 28, 1961 in Piqua, Ohio, a son of Nancy (Lawson) Wondal and step-son of Dennis Wondal of Waverly, Ohio. Also surviving are two sisters, Ronda (Ladd) Clemmons of Waverly, Ohio and Dawn (Brian Doherty) Boyce of Columbus, Ohio, two step-sisters, Michele Hill of Waverly, Ohio and Melissa (Chris) Unrue of Wilmington, North Carolina and one step-brother, Chip Wondal of Columbus, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Lee Smith Sr. Private burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will not be observed. Arrangements are under the direction of the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the SOMC Hospice Center, 2201 25^th St., Portsmouth, Ohio 45662.
