Ronald Ace Owens, age 64, departed this earthly life on May 8, 2023 following an extended illness. Ron was born February 26, 1964 at Cabell Huntington Hospital to Ellis and Alleine Owens. Ron held a lot of titles, son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather. He firmly believed his favorite titles were grandpa and papaw. Ron was a professional talker, fisherman, and hunter. He was also a jack of all trades. Ron was preceded in death by his mother Alliene Shelton, Ellis Caryle Owens, brothers Lloyd Bud Owens and James Everett Owens, his beloved wife of 17 years, Pamela Marie Owens, and a granddaughter, Nakilia Dale. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Owens, daughters Amanda Sue Owens, Angela (Anthony) Fry, Lisa (Adam Barker) York, Janetta (Michael) Ewing, Cheryl Clarkson, and son Timothy (Cynthia) York, step-children Alexandra Mossbarger and Mark Mossbarger, Jacob Dyess and Nathan Leech, both who he considered as sons, fourteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday May 12, 2023 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery, Oak Hill, Ohio. Friends may call from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
