Ronald William Ison Sr.

  Ronald William Ison Sr., age 71, of Beaver, Ohio, died Wednesday May 9, 2018 at his residence. He was born August 28, 1946 in Gary, Indiana, a son of the late Gussie William and Aileen Ferguson Ison. He was united in marriage April 19, 2013 to his wife, Jamie Turner Ison, who survives. Also surviving are three children Randall (Janey) Frazier of Rosemount, Ohio, Ronald (Samantha) Ison Jr. of Beaver, Ohio, and Brandon (Nicky) Myers of Waverly, Ohio, ten grandchildren, Cassie, Zac, Tyler, Jamie, Logan, Levi, Kodi, Alli, Madi, and Cam, two great-grandchildren, Natalie and Madelyn, three brothers and sisters, Alvita (Gary) Roberts of Beaver, Ohio, Philip (Doina) Ison of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Brenda (Cliff) Ison of Chillicothe, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews. Ronald was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, having served during Vietnam. Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday May 12, 2018 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Rev. Major Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaver Union Cemetery with military graveside services provided by the American Legion Merritt Post #142 of Waverly. Friends may call from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Stockdale United Christian Church, 449 St. Rt. 335 S, Beaver, Ohio 45613.
