Roger Tomlison Obituary
Our Heavenly Father welcomed home his faithful son Roger Lee Tomlison on August 13, 2016. Roger was born on September 13th, 1939 to the late Tracy and Mabel (Hickman) Tomlison. On January 11, 1959 He was united in marriage to his loving wife Freda "Liz" (Evans) Tomlison who survives. In addition to his wife, Roger is also survived by his son Tracy (Sherry) Tomlison of Waverly, Betty "Sis" Fite of Waverly. Granddaughters Amy, Tiffany, Molley and 10 great-grandchildren. Sisters Betty Gillenwater and Sue Stephenson, both of Beaver. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and an uncountable number of friends. Roger was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Cathy Jo, grandson Christopher Scott and a son-in-law Michael Fite. Roger dedicated his life to the Lord many years ago and was committed to helping anyone and everyone that was in need. He never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew him. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday August 18, 2016 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Haden Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaver Union Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8:00 P.M. Wednesday August 17, 2016 at the funeral home.
