Robert A Southworth

Robert Alan Southworth, age 67, of Lucasville, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord Friday July 29, 2022 while at home surrounded by his family. He was born March 8, 1955 in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of the late Orville Richard Southworth and Dorothy Marie Crabtree Southworth. He was united in marriage September 9, 1974 to his wife, Brenda Lee Lintz Southworth, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Heather (Josh) Hood of Lucasville, Ohio, B.J. (Jordan) Madden of Lucasville, Ohio, and Heidi (Dale) Kallner of Lucasville, Ohio, seven grandchildren, Steen Biggs, Braeden Cottrill, Haley (Kyle) Meade, Bryson Kallner, Branson Kallner, Payton Madden, and Kami Madden, four great-grandchildren, Remington Biggs, Brylor Biggs, Grainger Meade, and Asa Meade, four brothers, Richard (Kathy) Southworth, of Piketon, Ohio, Mack Southworth of Lucasville, Ohio, Jim (Ramona) Southworth of Beaver, Ohio, Roger Southworth of Portsmouth, Ohio, one sister, Teresa Southworth of Portsmouth, Ohio, a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Southworth of Lucasville, Ohio, and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenny Southworth and Paul Dallas Southworth (infant), and a sister-in-law, Janie Southworth.

Robert was a member of the Madison Missionary Baptist Church and he loved his family to no end, often stating his family made him a wealthier man than anyone holding gold and riches.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday August 1, 2022 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Pastor Don Noel officiating. Burial will follow in the Southworth Family Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
