Robert Perkins Obituary
Robert E. Perkins, age 64, of Hilliard, Ohio, died Thursday January 12, 2017 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born September 13, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio, a son of the late Edward and Martha Wilkins Perkins. Surviving are three brothers, Donald (Marilynn) Perkins of Hilliard, Ohio, Steven (Brenda) Perkins of Hilliard, Ohio and Kenneth Perkins of Hilliard, Ohio, two sisters, Barbara (Arthur) Perry of Louisa, Kentucky and Joyce Robinson of Mansfield, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews, including two very special nieces, Stephanie Severance and Brittany Perkins and very special nephew, Andrew Perkins, who looked to him as a father figure. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell Perkins and Sam Perkins and two sisters, Linda Perkins and Karen Heath. Robert loved spending time with family, especially during the holidays. He also enjoyed fishing, playing cards, watching television and Chiller Nights. He was known to family members as "Footsie". Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday January 14, 2017 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Pastor Randy Patterson of Kingdom Ministries, officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaver Union Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
