Robert A. "bob" Huffer Sr.

Robert A. "Bob" Huffer Sr., age 64, of Beaver, Ohio, died Friday March 1, 2013 at the Four Winds Community Nursing Facility in Jackson, Ohio. He was born February 25, 1949 in Circleville, Ohio, a son of the late James and Geraldine Leist Huffer. Mr. Huffer was united in marriage October 8, 1971 to his wife, Debbie Winn Huffer, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Rob (Jennifer) Huffer Jr. of Oak Hill, Ohio and Sam Huffer of Oak Hill, Ohio, two daughters, Michelle Huffer of Beaver, Ohio and Melissa (Kevin Moore) Huffer of Jackson, Ohio, four grandchildren, Ashley, Cody, Tyler and Erin, one great-grandchild, Madelyn, three brothers, Davis Huffer of Logan, Ohio, Jimmy Huffer of Chillicothe, Ohio and Ronnie Huffer of Ohio, and a host of very special friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandchild, Christian Snyder Huffer. Mr. Huffer was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served during the Vietnam Era. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday March 6, 2013 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio. Burial will follow in the Beaver Union Cemetery with military services conducted by the American Legion-Merritt Post #142 of Waverly, Ohio. Friends may call from 4-8:00 P.M. Tuesday March 5, 2013 at the funeral home.
