Phillip Jerome Ramsey

  Phillip Jerome Ramsey, age 72, of Ironton, Ohio, died Wednesday February 6, 2019 at his residence. He was born September 29, 1946 in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of the late Sadie and Mildred Maddey Ramsey. Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Rhonda Roe Ramsey, seven children, Tami (Tom) Lute, Sherry (John) Dixon, John Ramsey, Tommy Ramsey, Bonnie Ramsey, Julie Ramsey, and Eric Roe, eleven grandchildren, Heidi, Kyle, Justin (Emily), Brandi, Josh (Amanda), Luke (Sarah), Corey, Morgan, Tyler (Brianna) Jeromy, and Jarrod, twenty five great-grandchildren, Lily, Kaylee, Gage, Lucy, Nevaeh, Beau, Riley, Gwen, Connor, Odie, Leah, Camden, Lo, Kenzie, Liam, Jax, Gracie, Sammy, Anni, Elias, Ezekiel, Emilia, Xavier, Harper, and Sadie, and six brothers and sisters, Phyllis Morrow, Ronnie (Martha) Ramsey, Mona (Mike) Sturgill, Rocky (Johnita) Ramsey, Helen Noles, and Mike Ramsey. Phillip was a U.S. Army Veteran. Graveside services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday February 16, 2019 at the Grandview Cemetery on Hay Hollow Rd., Chillicothe, Ohio with Jessie Cook officiating and military services provided by the American Legion Merritt Post # 142 of Waverly. Burial will follow at the conclusion of services. Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
