Patricia Joanne (Hall) Gillespie

Patricia Joanne Gillespie, age 82, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday January 30, 2024 at the Soddy Daisy Health Care Center. She was born October 19, 1941 in Lackey, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Everett Hall and Jeanette Patten Hall. Surviving are her daughter, Taryna (Steve) Bearden of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee and granddaughter, Hayley Adams of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Patricia attended the New Salem Baptist Church. She graduated from Morehead St. University and was employed as an elementary school teacher in Butler County and Pike County for 34 years. She was a member of the Soddy Daisy senior center where she took many memorable trips that nurtured her love of travel. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday February 3, 2024 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Pastor Brian Hedden officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaver Union Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
