Norman Junior Culwell Sr.

Norman Junior Culwell Sr., age 71, of Washington, C.H., Ohio, went home to be with our Lord Saturday March 2, 2013 at the Country Glenn Nursing Facility in Washington, C.H., Ohio. He was born January 13, 1942 in Johnson County, Kentucky, a son of the late William Riley and Erma Mae Fannin Culwell. Surviving are three sons, Jonathan Culwell of Pratt, Kansas, William Culwell of Columbus, Ohio and Norman Culwell Jr. of Columbus, Ohio, five daughters, Diane Mullins of Frankfort, Kentucky, Benita Stephens of Frankfort, Kentucky, Norma (David) Thompson of Harlan, Kentucky, Josie "April" Culwell of Shelbyville, Kentucky and Jerrie "Beckie" Culwell of Stillwater, Oklahoma, over 21 grandchildren, three brothers, James Culwell of Washington C.H., Ohio, Elzie (Gloria) Culwell of Beaver, Ohio and Ronald Culwell of Mt. Sterling, Ohio, three sisters, Ruby (Dale) Bogenrife of Washington C.H., Ohio, Opal Culwell of Arizona and Okie (Dean) Dreher of Bainbridge, Ohio, several nieces and nephews and many very special friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, William Roy Culwell. Mr. Culwell will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday March 8, 2013 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Bro. Rex Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Ridge Cemetery located on Bethel Ridge Rd. Friends may call from 5-8:00 P.M. Thursday March 7, 2013 at the funeral home.
