Mary Ellen Adkins

Mary Ellen Adkins 75 of Beaver Ohio passed away unexpectedly on November 6th at her home. She is survived by her 3 children. Virgil Edwin Davis Sr (Rhonda McPherson) and children Laken and Dennis of Beaver, Pamala Joy Davis and Diana Faye Davis of Chillicothe. Grandchildren Jessie (Danyelle) Lett and their 2 children of Chillicothe, Terry White, April Davis (Kevin Hensley) and their 4 children, Virgil Edwin Davis Jr. all of Waverly, Johnathon Leslie Sherrick of Chillicothe. She is also survived by long-time companion Albert Eugene Brust. She was preceded in death by her parents Leslie (Wilma) Frick, 3 brothers, James (Dora) Frick, Charles (Rosie) Frick, and Clarence (Thelma) Frick all of Hemphill, Texas. 2 husbands Virgil Edwin Davis Sr, and then later Harold Adkins. A niece Sharon Kay Frick and beloved grandson Dustin Ranger Sherrick. Mary worked as a cook for Waverly East Elementary School and the Waverly Senior Citizens Center for several years. 

Arrangements are as follows,

Viewing from 11am-1pm Friday November 10, 2023 with funeral starting at 1pm at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver Ohio. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery on Hay Hollow Road.
