Marvin H. Petty

Marvin H. Petty, age 62, of Beaver, Ohio, died Saturday March 2, 2013 in Circleville, Ohio, as the result of a car accident. He was born July 29, 1950, a son of the late Edgar R. and Helen Mae Poth Petty. Mr. Petty was united in marriage December 17, 1971 to his wife, Rebecca Veith Petty, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Michael (Dawn) Petty of Lancaster, Ohio and Marvin (Martha) Petty of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, one daughter, Angela (Matt) Robbins of Columbus, Ohio, seven grandchildren, Katrina, Michael, Tyler, Mackenzie, Trenton, Miya and Alyssa, one brother, Melvin Petty of Gahanna, Ohio, two sisters, Patty (Warren) Noblic of Newark, Ohio and Carol (David) Ruggles of Tennessee, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Petty worked as a mechanic for B&B Forklift. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday March 7, 2013 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Grandview Cemetery on Hay Hollow Rd., Waverly, Ohio. Friends may call from 6-9:00 P.M. Wednesday March 6, 2013 at the funeral home.
