Malea Jo (Ledley) Ison

Malea Jo (Ledley) Ison, age 64, of Beaver, Ohio, died Tuesday March 30, 2021 at her residence. She was born April 15, 1956 in Kenton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles N. Ledley and Patricia A. (Secord) Larson. She was united in marriage November 10, 1991 to her husband, James Randell Ison, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Carrie (Rodney) Chamberlain, two granddaughters, Sabrina Chamberlain and Kendra Chamberlain, one brother, Charles E. (Brenda) Ledley, three sisters, Sharon Richardson, Terri (Michael) Tusinger, and Leanne Larson, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Douglas.

Malea loved and adored her daughter and granddaughters. She loved spending time visiting family and friends and enjoyed being in the kitchen where she had a talent for cooking.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will not be observed. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in honor of Malea.
