Lorene Duncan

Lorene Duncan passed Tuesday August 15th, 2023 at Chillicothe Hospital Hospice Wing. Born December 23, 1932, her parents were Jewel and Alf Wolfenbarger. She was married to John Duncan, a logger from Beaver, OH, for 45 years.

Lorene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend to all who knew her. She loved church and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Lorene loved watching The Kentucky Wildcats basketball and The Cincinnati Reds.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jewel and Alf Wolfenbarger, husband John Duncan, son Rick Duncan, daughter Rita Wilson, and grandson Scott Duncan.

Lorene is survived by her children: John (J.B.) Duncan, wife Nita. Orlando, FL. Bonnie Heffelbower, husband Kent. Columbus, IN. Roger Duncan. Beaver, OH. Grandchildren-Alan Wickline, Lori Williams, Brian Duncan, Stefanie Schmidt, Brad Wilson, Kendra Heffelbower, Brelyn Heffelbower, Kamron Heffelbower, Jeremy Duncan, Michael Duncan, Brittany Duncan, and Zach Duncan.

She will be deeply missed by her family and her many friends.

The family will receive friends between 10am-12pm August 21st at Cox/Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, OH with a memorial service at 12pm. Burial to follow at Bethel Ridge Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, please donate a little extra to your church or favorite charity in her name. Lorene would love that.
