Lois Pearl (Hill) Meyers

Lois Meyers left this earth for her Heavenly Home to be with Jesus Thursday May 9, 2024. She was born August 3, 1945 to Oscar and Florence Hill, who preceded her in death. Lois graduated from Jackson High School in 1963. She was united in marriage June 12, 1965 to James Meyers, who preceded her in death in October of 2014. Later she took a job at Goodyear Tire & Rubber in Jackson and later drove a school bus for Scioto Schools of Jackson, She truly loved this job. In August of 1975 her family moved to Nappanee, Indiana where she worked for the RV Industry until she retired. In early 2015 she moved to Madison, Wisconsin with her daughter Teresa, and six months later she moved to Waverly, Ohio. Surviving are her children, Teresa Bausch of DeForest, Wisconsin, James (Heather) Meyers of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and Rachael (Lou) Harell of Edwardsburg, Michigan, grandchildren Trosta (Matt) Mezera, Aaron (Emily) Bausch, Tyler Sterling, Garret Bausch, Allyssa Whitmayer, and Brandon Meyers, sister Nina Hill Cantey of Mishawaka, Indiana, several nieces and nephews including Beth Cooper and Brenda Brown who cared and helped with her in her final days, and special caretaker, Susan Carpenter. She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters Tom Hill, Mary Chandler, Rowena Brown, Roger Hill, and Jenice Rouch.

Burial will be held in the CM Cemetery in Oak Hill, Ohio at the convenience of the family. Visiting hours will not be observed. Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
