Lester Wayne Chandler

Lester Wayne Chandler, 70, of Beaver, passed away October 3, 2024. He was born December 3, 1953 to parents Jack Chandler and Lenora Fay West Chandler Hamilton, who precedes him in death. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Judy Cole Chandler, son Joshua Luke (Kerrigan) Chandler of Lucasville, brothers James (Dolly) Chandler and Jack Edward Chandler, both of Beaver, and Michael Ray (Dianna) Chandler of New Braunfels, Texas, several nieces and nephews, and many friends.

He was a member of the Carpenters Local #437 of Portsmouth until he retired. He worked as a ceramic welder, railroader, and job superintendent.

Wayne was a friend to people from all walks of life. He loved to hunt, ride his Harley (in earlier years) and spend time with family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
