Lawrence Eblin

  Lawrence Eblin, age 82, of Bidwell, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday December 8, 2018. He was born February 2, 1936 in Pike County, Ohio, a son of the late Forrest and Rena Spencer Eblin. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Naragon Eblin on March 24, 2008. Surviving are one daughter, Pamela (Darryl) Laywell of Bidwell, Ohio, one son, Kevin Michael (Betty) Eblin of Roseville, Ohio, five grandchildren, Wendie (Guy) Shriner of Junction City, Ohio, Terrie Mae (Mark) Stevens of Georgia, Larry (April) Eblin of Jackson, Ohio, Sgt. Christopher (Isabella) Adams (U.S. Army) of Oklahoma, and Ashley (Joshua) Johnson of Des Moines, Iowa, seven great-grandchildren, Dylan Lawrence, William, Michael, Tyffanie, Jaykob, and Jonita Nichole, two great-great-grandchildren, Brandon and Noah, and a daughter-in-law, Ethel Eblin of Wellston, Ohio. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Terry Grant Eblin, three brothers, Joc Eblin, Gerald Eblin, and Lorne Eblin, and four sisters, Winnie Shopshear, Florence Marhoover, Bonnie Dennison, and Geraldine Williams, and two infant siblings. Lawrence was a U.S. Army Veteran, in which he served as a Medical Corpsman and a Heavy Truck Driver. He found great enjoyment in working, no matter how small or large the task or job and he also enjoyed spending time fishing. Funeral services will be 12 noon Thursday December 13, 2018 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Rev. Ronnie Hines officiating. Burial will follow in the Obetz Cemetery in Obetz, Ohio. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
