Kenneth Lee Rapp

Ken Rapp passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born April 29, 1938 in Beaver, OH to the late John and Margaret Rapp.

Ken was a Control Systems Leader at Owens Corning Fiberglass Research Center. He previously worked at Hoeschst Fibers in Spartanburg, SC, Bowater Paper in Rock Hill, SC and Mead Paper in Chillicothe, Ohio.

Ken loved watching sports, attending high school basketball tournaments, his farm in Utica, and spending time with family. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara Jo Rapp (Brooks). He is survived by his daughter Sherry Culp (Tim) of Prospect, KY, three sons Michael Rapp (Sarah) of Naples, FL, Brian Rapp (Nancy) of Granville, OH and Chris Rapp (Jim) of Rockbridge, OH; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

A visitation for Kenneth Lee Rapp, age 83, of Granville, will be held from 5-8 on Monday, March 7th, 2022, at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st Street in Newark.

Additional calling hours will be held from 12:30-2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with funeral services beginning at 2:00 P.M. and officiated by Pastor Rodney Bapst. Burial will follow in the Beaver Union Cemetery.
