Kenneth Carlton Hayes, 63, of Beaver Ohio, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at his home on December 21, 2023.
He was born August 13th, 1961, in Lexington, KY, to his parents, Jacqueline “Jackie” and Carlton Hayes, but grew up in Stuart, Florida. “Kenny” as most know him as was a Roofer by trade and Detailed Vehicles because he enjoyed doing it. Kenny also enjoyed playing volleyball and shooting pool when he had the chance. Kenny overcame challenging obstacles throughout his life. Although he faced many challenges, he never lost his faith in the Lord and the need to help others.
Kenny was generous, caring, and kind. He impacted so many people in more ways than he knew. Someone recently shared a story with his family about how “Kenny”, being a stranger, believed in him and gave him a place to stay when he had nowhere to go. He now has more hope for the future because of Kenny’s caring heart. He said “Kenny” was a special person.
Kenneth is survived by his beautiful wife, Carol Orr, of 21 years whom he cherished and loved so deeply. They moved to Beaver in 2019, so Kenny could be closer to family. Also surviving are four sisters, Renee Howard Withrow, Traci Hayes, Kristel Dopp, and Jamie Dominguiz Dopp. “Kenny” had many nieces, nephews, extended family, and a dear friend Adam that he loved dearly. “Kenny” didn’t have children of his own, but he always had a way of seeing into a child’s heart. He is also preceded in death by his younger brother Richard Hayes and a niece Tawni Pina, who both shared a special place in his heart.
A visitation will be held for close family and friends on December 27, 2023, from 3-5 p.m., at Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio.
