Kanawha Tuttle, age 71, of Beaver, Ohio, died Sunday January 10, 2016 after a brief stay at the Pleasant Hill Manor Nursing Facility in Piketon, Ohio. He was born January 29, 1944 in Beaver, Ohio, a son of the late Lester and Rachel Thornsberry Tuttle. Mr. Tuttle was united in marriage in 1970 to his wife, Debbie Rondeau Tuttle, who preceded him in death November 14, 2000. Surviving are three children, Tamara (Mike) Benoit of Gaylord, Michigan, Kenny (Jennifer) Tuttle of Beaver, Ohio and Charley (Jessica) Williams of Waverly, Ohio, friend Kayla Miller of Beaver, Ohio, nine grandchildren, Tiffany Tuttle, Michael and Matthew Harshman, Andrew, Brad, Meaghan Tuttle , Brayden Miller and Addysen and Landon Williams, seven great-grandchildren, two brothers, Sherman (Grace) Tuttle of Beaver, Ohio and Joseph Tuttle of Beaver, Ohio, four sisters, Vergie (John) Barton of Pure, Indiana, Betty (Ed) Warren of Monroe, Michigan, Alma (Kenny) Knowles of Waverly, Ohio and Sherry (Jimmy) Vincent of New Boston, Michigan and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one brother, Clayton Tuttle and one sister, Inez Riley. Mr. Tuttle was a U.S. Army Veteran, was self-employed as the owner and operator of Tuttle Trucking and served as a Trustee for Marion Township for 6 years. His greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday January 14, 2016 at the Little Ettie Old Regular Baptist Church, Beaver, Ohio, with Bros. John Thornsberry, Greg Sowards, Buddy Tuttle and Ernie Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in the Tuttle Family Cemetery with military graveside services conducted by the American Legion Merritt Post #142 of Waverly. Calling hours will be held beginning at 4:00 P.M. and continuing throughout the evening on Wednesday January 13, 2016 at the church.
