Juanita S. Cooper

  Juanita S. Cooper, age 91, of Beaver, Ohio, died Sunday May 13, 2018 at her residence. She was born February 15, 1927 in Madison County, Ohio, daughter of the late Raymond D. Steele and Arzona (Arnold) Oty Grove. She was united in marriage May 6, 1950 to her husband, Robert Richard Cooper, who preceded her in death May 8, 2012. Surviving are four sons, David (Rhonda) Cooper of Westerville, Ohio, Larry (Peggy) Cooper of Dublin, Ohio, Richard Brian Cooper of Beaver, Ohio, and Daniel Cooper of Beaver, Ohio, nine grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Robert M. Cooper, one granddaughter, Christine Cooper, and two brothers, Paul Steele and Marvin Steele. Juanita was married for 62 years, was a member of the Pike County Genealogy Society, formerly worked as a secretary for Holt House Plumbing, was a former President of the PTA, and drove a school bus. Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday May 18, 2018 at the Bethel Cemetery in Mt. Sterling, Ohio with Chaplain Cathy Haddox officiating. Friends may call from 5-7:00 P.M. Thursday May 17, 2018 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio.
