Joyce "Mamaw" Ann Chandler Lawson, age 71, of Beaver, Ohio, died Wednesday January 18, 2017 at the Pleasant Hill Care Center in Piketon, Ohio. She was born June 25, 1945 in Beaver, Ohio, a daughter of the late Lodie and Envie Castle Chandler. Joyce was united in marriage September 14, 1967 to her husband, Roy "RoHo" Lawson, who preceded her in death May 26, 2002. Surviving are two daughters, Rhonda Lawson and Robin (Ed) Farleigh, one step-son, Charles Lawson, four grandchildren, Tiffany Lawson, and Brandi, Shane (Jenny) and Arial Farleigh, two great-grandchildren, Jordan Farleigh and A.J. Farleigh, one step-granddaughter, Mary Rose Lawson, two brothers, Estell (Sandra) Chandler and Eugene Chandler, three sisters, Dorothy (Vernon) Remy, Carolyn (Jay) Sparks and Frances (Dwight) Rodgers, a sister-in-law, Shirley Chandler, a brother-in-law, James Lawson Jr, two special nieces, Sheila Donahue and Melissa Farleigh, two special nephews, James and Rodney Lawson and special loved ones, Brittany, Aubri, Bailey and Hunter Kirk, Paige and Patience Conley, Hannah, Camden and Addison Predragovich, whom she considered her grandchildren, two very special friends, Chrissie Smith-Eisnaugle and Candy Keaton and her loving animal companion, Bella. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dencil Chandler and Willis Chandle, a step-granddaughter, Connie Lawson and a very special niece, Tonia Chandler. Joyce was a loving Mother, Grandmother and homemaker, and a retired Nurse, having worked at the Pike Community Hospital. Graveside services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family in the Beaver Union Cemetery. Calling hours will not be observed. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at the Pleasant Hill Care Center, the staff at Heartland Hospice and the staff at Piketon Regional Dialysis Center.
