Jeraldine Swan

  Jeraldine Swan, age 98, of Jackson, Ohio, died Tuesday May 29, 2018 at the Heartland of Jackson Health Care Facility. She was born August 18, 1919 in Jackson, Ohio, a daughter of the late Arley Ray and Della White Wood. She was preceded in death in 1990 by her husband, Ralph D. Swan. Surviving are two sons William E. "Bill" (Brenda Houser) Grow of Jackson, Ohio and George D. Swan of Jackson, Ohio, two grandchildren, Tonya Swan and Zachary Houser and numerous great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Wilbur "Bus" Wood and Wayne Wood, three sisters, Joanna Adams, Juel McGee, and Jane, and her first husband H. Edwin Grow. Jeraldine was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church for over 60 years. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday June 2, 2018 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio. Burial will follow in the Hannah Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:30 - 8:00 P.M. Friday June 1, 2018 at the funeral home.
