Jeanette Frances Baldwin

Jeanette Frances (Fowler) Baldwin, age 86, of Chillicothe, Ohio, went to be with the Lord Sunday October 19, 2025. She was born January 24, 1939 in Mason County, West Virginia to the late Esther Irene (Fowler) VanMeter and Jesse Richard “Bill” VanMeter of Pt. Pleasant, West Virginia.

Jeanette met and married Johnie Burgess Baldwin in Columbus, Ohio. They were married August 10, 1963, and were married 62 years. They received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior in 1968.

Jeanette was preceded in death by two sons, Linville Ray Baldwin in 2018 and Jason Baldwin in 2025, and a grandson Eric Rodgers (Linville’s son). Surviving are three sons, Johnnie Jr. and Regina (Hill) Baldwin of Gallipolis, Ohio, Jesse Lee and Donna (Loper) Baldwin of Rome, Ohio, and Glenville and Melissa (Rafferty) Blain, of Jackson, Ohio also approximately thirty grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a daughter-in-law, Melissa (Brown) Baldwin of Chillicothe, Ohio.

Jeanette’s greatest hope was to meet all her family in Heaven.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday October 26, 2025 at the Tick Ridge Church, located at 1817 Borland Rd., Ray, Ohio 45672 with Pastor Butch Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Tick Ridge Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service Sunday at the church.
