James "Mark" Rigsby, age 71, of Buck Hollow Rd., Beaver, Ohio, died Tuesday January 29, 2013 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born March 2, 1941 in Magoffin County, Kentucky, a son of the late John Brack and Myrtle Jane Caudill Rigsby. Mr. Rigsby was united in marriage February 8, 1964 to his wife, Wanda Diane Blair Rigsby, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Mark Thomas (Margaret) Rigsby of Beaver, Ohio and Michael Todd Rigsby of Washington C.H., Ohio, one daughter, Melissa Jane (Doug) Hughes of Jackson, Ohio, seven grandchildren, Crystal Adkins, Zachary Rigsby, Justin Rigsby, Kelly Hughes, Dylan Rigsby, Michael Rigsby Jr., and Christopher Hughes, two great-grandchildren, Gregory Adkins and Allen Adkins, five brothers, and four sisters. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Mr. Rigsby was a member of the Mary Chapel Church located on Denver Rd. in Waverly, Ohio and was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in Korea. Memorial services will be 6:30 P.M. Friday February 1, 2013 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio. Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Beaver Union Cemetery at a later date.
