Jackie Isaac, age 66, of Straight Creek, Waverly born May 10, 1946 in Coldwater, MI, died unexpectedly Friday, May 18, 2012 while vacationing in Utah. He is survived by his wife, Susan, his daughter, Cheryl Newton and Fiancee Ryan Rapp, grandson Zach Newton, granddaughters Aimee Ross and Keelee Rapp, and great-grandson, Colt Newton, sister Geneva "Sis" Richardson, and brother Bill Isaac, all of Waverly, and brother Jerry Isaac and wife Marlene of Dade City, FL., many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Preceded in death by his parents Hase and Birdie Isaac, his beloved grandson, Anthony "Tony" Brannan, brothers Robert, James, Jimmie, Timmy, and Larry Isaac. Jackie was a Vietnam War Veteran awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Bronze Service Star, and Vietnam Service Medal with three Bronze Service Stars. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Cox-Burkitt Funeral Home, Beaver with Rev. Keith Richardson officiating. Military graveside services will be by the Waverly American Legion Merritt Post #142 at Givens Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 1 hour prior to service Friday at the funeral home.
