Hazel "Marie" (Moore) Davis

Hazel “Marie” Davis, 75, of Bristol Village, Waverly, Ohio, passed away October 30, 2025 at her daughter’s home. Marie was born July 31, 1950 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Roy Orren Moore and Margaret “Mollie” Ellen (Hannah) Moore. Surviving are her daughter Cathy and Rob Holbrook, son Kevin Davis, step-granddaughter Mandy Rhodes, grandson Aaron Becker, granddaughter Erika Davis, numerous nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Kay Jones, numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and her very special pride and joy animal companion, Buster. Marie was preceded in death by her husband Willie Harrison Davis in 2019, son Gregory Lee Davis, daughter-in-law, Robin K. Davis, and 13 siblings, Roy “Oma” Moore, Marjorie Eilene (Moore) Haney, Edward Jefferson “Mutt” Moore, Monnabelle “Minnie” (Moore) Zearing, James Earl (Chafins) Moore, Benny Ray (Tackett) Moore, William Franklin “Bill” Moore, Elizabeth Pearl “Betty” (Moore) Maynard, Robert Eugene “Cotton” Moore, Dolly Ellen (Moore) Owens, Juanita June “Neva” (Moore) Maynard, Joseph Moore, and John Michael Moore.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday November 3, 2025 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Kathy Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaver Union Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held from 4-6:00 P.M. Sunday November 2, 2025 at the funeral home.
