August 24, 1939 ~ February 27, 2023 (age 83) 83 Years Old
Harry Dinzle Wilburn, age 83, of Lucasville, Ohio, died Monday February 27, 2023 at the King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. He was born August 24, 1939 in Little White Oak, Kentucky, a son of the late Lonnie Wilburn and Effie Stevens Wilburn. Surviving are one daughter, Kimberly Jayne Myers of Jeffersonville, Kentucky, one son, Mark Anthony (Kyong) Wilburn of Wichita Falls, Texas, five grandchildren, Joshua D. (Christy) Myers of Jeffersonville, Kentucky, Austin G. Adams of Lexington, Kentucky, Korey Wilburn of Dallas, Texas, Phoenix Wilburn of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Alexzander Wilburn of Wichita Falls, Texas, one sister, Sarah (Howard) Chandler Kingery of Lucasville, Ohio, one brother, Eugene (Joan) Wilburn of White Bluff, Tennessee, numerous nieces and nephews, including James (Rhonda) Blanton of Piketon, Ohio, Mack Blanton of Marysville, Ohio, Matthew Wilburn of Ashville, Ohio, and Hank Wilburn of Ashville, Ohio, and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Wilburn and Johnny Wilburn.
Harry graduated from the Portsmouth Interstate Business College and was employed for 47 years at OSCO Industries in Portsmouth, Ohio. He enjoyed fishing, old cars and drag racing, collecting knives and watches, and was a fan of the Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals, and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday March 4, 2023 at the Lucasville Cemetery with Pastor Brian Hedden officiating. Cox Burkitt Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
