Golda Rood-Leedy, went home to be with the Lord on December 20, 2022 after a brief illness at the Adena-Pike Medical Center. She was born February 7, 1940 to the late Johnas and Victoria White. She was united in marriage to David Rood until his passing in 2006 and later married Bob Leedy until his passing in 2014. Surviving are one daughter, Vickie Neal of Beaver, Ohio, one brother, Clyde White of Freemont, Ohio, one grandson, Dustin Duncan of Enon, Ohio, one granddaughter, Casandra Mullinix of Coalton, Ohio, three great-grandsons, Sebastian, Hendrix, and Dalton, and one great-granddaughter, Miley. In addition to her parents and late husbands David and Robert, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Ed White, Matt White, and Pete White and three sisters, Margie Hall, Myrtle Riley, and Ella Nora Hall. She leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of family, including her daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Golda was a homemaker, enjoyed being outdoors gardening, enjoyed cooking for her family, was a member of the Church of Christ, and loved singing hymns.
Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Tuesday December 27, 2022 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio. Burial will follow in the McCune Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
