Glen Eddie "Bub" Montgomery

Glen Eddie “Bub” Montgomery, 58, of Beaver, passed away on May 21, 2025 at the Adena Pike Medical Center. Eddie was born to Susie Jones Montgomery and the late Frank Montgomery. He was a graduate of Eastern High School in the class of 1986, and attended the Pike County Career Tech Center with carpentry. His love of truck driving became his passion and career, and gave him three special truck brothers, Donny, Joe, and Mike, and a special boss, Harry. Don’t let him fool you, he had the moves and love for line dancing He is survived by his dear mother Susie, sister Anita “Sister dear” and brother-in-law Shawn McComas, nephew Colten “Bubby” and Kylee Montgomery, great nieces Haiden and Ellie, and by multiple aunts, uncles and cousins, and of course his beloved dogs Little Man and Little Girl. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Montgomery, grandparents Cinnet and Maxine Jones and Onie and Virgil Montgomery, several aunts and uncles, and one special cousin Duane Rigsby.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday May 27, 2025 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio. Burial will follow in Germany Cemetery. Friends and family are encouraged to call at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home from 4-6:00 P.M. on Monday May 26, 2025.
