Gerald Leo Rose, age 61, of Chillicothe, Ohio, died Sunday May 1, 2022 at his residence. He was born June 19, 1960 in Pike County, Ohio, a son of the late Charles Wesley Rose and Viola Mae Jones Carroll. Surviving are his wife, Sandra McConaha Rose, four children, Jason (Tifani) Rose of Chillicothe, Ohio, Kelli Rose of Chillicothe, Ohio, Angie Rose of West Virginia, and Jashua (Sarah) Rose of Waverly, Ohio, nine grandchildren, Jason W. Rose, William M Rose, Breanna N. Rose, Nicholas Rose, Haley Black, Denver Hicks, Christopher Hardin, Nichole Hardin, and Sophia Rose, one great-grandchild, Riley Black, four brothers and sisters, Danny Rose of Waverly, Ohio, Sara Mae Sturm of Belpre, Ohio, Linda (Brian) Owens of Pomeroy, Ohio, and Bud Carroll of Ocala, Florida, and a special nephew, Robert Nixon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Samuel Rose and Wilbur Rose, and one sister, Wilma Jean Nixon.

Visiting hours will be held from 3-5:00 P.M. Wednesday May 4, 2022 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio.
