Georgia E. Bruce Slone

  Georgia E. Bruce Slone, 87, of Beaver, Ohio, passed away July 23, 2017 at Bristol Village in Waverly, Ohio. Georgia was born February 28, 1930 in Lucasville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles and Nellie Bruce and was a 1948 graduate of Valley High School. She was united in marriage to Ralph Slone on September 3, 1949. She is survived by her children, Patty Creech of Jackson, Ohio, Kathy Slone of Beaver, Ohio, Carol Kemp of Indiana and Scott (Angela) Slone of Beaver, Ohio, eight grandchildren, Tammy (Buzz) Stephenson, Larry Creech, Chasity (Teddie) Oliver, Megan (Josh) Horner, Rachel Slone, Jessica (Michael) Yount, Roman Slone and Sadie Scott, eighteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, two brothers, Charles (Betty) Bruce and John Bruce, both of Springfield, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ralph Slone, her son Rick, two sons-in-law, Larry Creech and Rick Kemp, three brothers, two sisters and two infant sisters. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday July 26, 2017 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Pastor Dan King officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaver Union Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8:00 P.M. Tuesday July 25, 2017 at the funeral home.
