George K. "Butch" "Dad" Pendleton, age 55, of Lucasville, Ohio, died Tuesday May 1, 2018 at the SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born June 24, 1962 in Columbus, Ohio, a son of the late George King Pendleton and Virginia Mae Gullett Colter. He was united in marriage September 7, 1984 to his wife, Carman Brewer Pendleton, who survives. Also surviving are four children, Crystal (Mark Hill) Pendleton of Waverly, Ohio, Ashly (Jason O'Brian) Pendleton of Lucasville, Ohio, George Pendleton III of Washington, and Nicki Nichole (Daniel Hall) Pendleton of Washington, four grandchildren, Skyler Dollarhide, Chelsea Dollarhide, Issac Michael Martin, and Jaden King Pendleton, five brothers and sisters, Norma (Ronald) Carter of Waverly, Ohio, William Pendleton of Portsmouth, Ohio, Diane Justice of Portsmouth, Ohio, Darlene Deitz of Michigan, and Martha Blake of Waverly, Ohio, his mother-in-law, Shirley Brewer of Lucasville, Ohio, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Natasha Nichole Pendleton and one sister, Mary Ann Moore. Funeral services will 1:00 P.M. Saturday May 5, 2018 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio. Burial will follow in the Beaver Union Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home. At the conclusion of services at the cemetery, a Celebration of Life will be held at The Mission, 718 Mt. Etna Rd., Lucasville, Ohio 45648.
