Gary "Snoot" Williams,
age 61, of Straight Creek Rd., Waverly, Ohio, died Tuesday April 3, 2012 at his residence. He was born December 31, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio, a son of the late Carroll and Marie Jenkins Williams. He was united in marriage December 8, 1973 to his wife, Judy Charlene Hilderbran Williams, who survives. Also surviving are four sons, Shane (Sarah) Williams, Brion (Michelle Dryden) Williams, Erick Williams, and Brett (Kea Lee) Williams, all of the Beaver area, one grandson, Brayden Williams, one brother, Carroll "Bud" (Suzanne) Williams of Tipp City, Ohio, two sisters, Linda (Harry) Fisher of Union, Ohio and Kathy (Mike) Wallace of Fairborn, Ohio, and a special aunt, Carolyn Locke of Waverly, Ohio. Mr. Williams retired from the YSK Corporation with over 20 years of service, was a member of the Eastern Local School Board for 8 years, coached Pee-Wee basketball for 13 years in the Eastern School Disrict, and was involved in the Eastern Youth League program for many years. Gary's biggest enjoyment came from spending time with his sons and grandson.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday April 7, 2012 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Jimmy Dummitt officiating. Friends may call from 4-8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
