The youngest of Christena (Quincel) and John Stoll's children, Garnet (Midge) Veach peacefully passed away at her Pasadena California home on June 21, 2014. She married the love of her life Chester Veach, who was from Quincy Kentucky, in 1941. They made their home and raised their family in Columbus Ohio. Garnet and Chet retired to Bristol Village in Waverly and later to St. Petersburg, Florida. Garnet was preceded in death by her husband Chet (2011), her parents, and five siblings: Anna (Stoll Evans) Woolum, Hazel Stoll, George Stoll, Margaret (Stoll) Pyle, and Ruth (Stoll) Brewer. She is deeply loved and will be sorely missed by son Mike, daughter Christena, son-in-law Michael, grandchildren Colin and Justin, relatives and friends. Garnet lives on in the hearts and minds of all who knew and loved her. Her memory will always be a blessing. Memorial services will be held at Beaver Union Cemetery on September 20, at 11:00am. In case of rain, the service will be at Cox Burkitt Funeral Home.
