Frieda P (Ison) Reinsmith

Frieda P. Reinsmith, age 73, of Beaver, Ohio, died Saturday January 4, 2025 at the Pavilion in Piketon, Ohio. She was born December 24, 1951 in East Chicago, Indiana, a daughter of the late Luther Ison and Matilda Conley Ison. She was united in marriage January 13, 1982 to her husband, Thomas E. Reinsmith, who preceded her in death April 26, 2022. Surviving are one son, Thomas A. Reinsmith, her grandchildren, Matthew (Montanna) Taylor, Kelsey Shepherd, Crystal Arnold, Bailey (Faith) Pennington, and other grandchildren, her great-grandchildren, Madelyn Shepherd, Landon Shepherd, Aubree Robinson, Wyatt Taylor, Emersyn Taylor, Noah Taylor, and other great-grandchildren, two sisters, Rita Ison and Teresa (Eldridge Choice) Johnson, three brothers, twins David and Daniel Ison and Jerry Ison, one sister-in-law, Bobi Ison, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Christy Pennington, one son, David Pennington, and two brothers, Larry Ison and James Ison.

Frieda was devout Christian.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday January 11, 2025 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Pastor George Vastine officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaver Union Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held from 5-7:00 P.M. Friday January 10, 2025 at the funeral home.
