Frank Tackett, 81, of Beaver, Ohio went to his heavenly home on February 27, 2018. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace. Frank was born in Virgie, Kentucky to the late Mid and Edna Tackett on March 2, 1936. Frank was blessed with a large and loving family. Frank helped raise his five children with his first wife, Elzie. They taught them patience, discipline and humility. He taught them to appreciate life and the loved ones around us. Frank was kind and soft-spoken, and always had time to help others. Almost as much as he loved spending time with his loved ones, he loved to spending time outdoors gardening and working in the yard. He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who take comfort in the fact that he is at peace with his creator. After 44 years, Elzie passed on and he married Rella Dean on December 15, 2003. Frank is survived by his wife, Rella; his children, Charles Tackett, Ella (Duane) Campbell, Bessie (Marshall) Evans, Frank Tackett Jr., and James (Ruth) Tackett; his step-children Saundra Bircheat, John Mullins Jr., Ronald Mullins and David Mullins; his siblings, Bill (Linda) Tackett, Peggy Polley, Terilla (Tom) Armes and Morine (Bill) Ginn; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews that will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Elzie; his sister, Cleo Dyer, his brothers, Arthur Tackett, Mid Tackett Jr., Hays Tackett; and his parents. Visitation will be held at Cox-Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio on March 3, 2018 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at Cox-Burkitt Funeral Home on March 4, 2018 at 2:00 pm.
