Ethel Maxine Knight

  Ethel Maxine Knight, age 83, of Beaver, Ohio, died Saturday February 3, 2018 at her residence while surrounded by her family. She was born October 6, 1934 in Lucasville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Cecil and Harriot Wiley Blanton. Mrs. Knight was united in marriage on July 6, 1955 to her husband, Shyrl Dean Knight, who preceded her in death July 13, 2012. Surviving are her children, Regina (Donald) Taylor, Rita Holton, and Teresa Montgomery, eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, two brothers, Paul (Marlene) Blanton and David (Vickie) Blanton, four sisters, Joyce (Ron) Valandingham, Mary Lou (Chuck) Allspaugh, Rita Jean (Danny) Crumm, and Normie Jean Floyd, and numerous nieces and nephews In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Don Blanton, Jim Blanton, and Ray Blanton, a son-in-law, Keith Holton, a sister-in-law, Faye Blanton, and a brother-in law, Dale Floyd. Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Tuesday February 6, 2018 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Pastor Jarrod Bevan officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaver Union Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
