Elizabeth "libby" Ann Tackett

Elizabeth "Libby" Ann Tackett, 70, of Waverly, Ohio, passed away on Monday January 11, 2016 at her home with her family by her side. She was born August 7, 1945 in Cedarville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ralph and Bessie Shaw. On May 19, 1962 Libby was united in marriage to James Tackett, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Leisa (Mike) Schaffner of Waverly, Linda (Darren) Hitchcock of Beaver and a son Jimmy (Missy) Tackett of Waverly, four grandchildren, Mikie (Alicia) Schaffner, Darreck (Vanessa) Hitchcock, Brittany (Heath) Mapes and Amber (Matt) Rider, nine great-grandchildren, Bryce, Mason, Braylon, Brayden, Alexis, Silas, Alayna, Avery and Brantley, one brother, Ralph Shaw and two sisters, Luella Williams and Edie Fadely. Libby was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Zach Schaffner, one brother, Walter Shaw and one sister, Rosie Cox. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday January 16, 2016 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Pastor Rick Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the Givens Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8:00 P.M. Friday January 15, 2016 at the funeral home.
