Elizabeth Esther Spencer

  Elizabeth Esther Spencer, age 76, of Portsmouth, Ohio, died Thursday December 14, 2017 at her residence. She was born October 31, 1941 in Mt. Joy, Ohio, a daughter of the late William Eldred and Elizabeth Mae Smith Skeels. Surviving are three children, John J. (Buffey) Spencer of Waverly, Ohio, Dorraine Elizabeth (James) Stepp of Beaver, Ohio, and Jessica Kay (Tony) Baldwin of Portsmouth, Ohio, six grandchildren, Robert Spencer, John J. Spencer II, Heather Nicole Garcia, Danielle Ruth Stepp, Sarah Ann Horn, and James Alfred Stepp II, two step-grandchildren, Anthony Joel Baldwin and Kristen Michelle Baldwin, two great-grandchildren, Gavynn Spencer and Sheah Spencer, two sisters, Annie Katherine (Arnold) Spencer of Beaver, Ohio and Mary Lillian (Roy) Ratliff of Columbus, Ohio, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and very special friends. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday December 19, 2017 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Dwayne Knittel officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaver Union Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
