Elizabeth Jane (davis) Richardson

  Elizabeth Jane (Davis) Richardson, age 97, of Waverly, Ohio, passed from this life and into the arms of her Lord and Savior on November 21, 2017. She was born on October 9, 1920, the daughter of the late Floyd and Blanche Davis. She was united in marriage on October 19, 1939 to Donald G. Richardson, who preceded her in death on January 11, 1996.  She was the mother of four children, Janet Cox, Floyd Richardson, Ida Satterfield, and an infant son James, all of which preceded her in death. In addition to her husband, parents and children, she was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Elizabeth is survived by eleven grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren, one brother, Steve Davis and two sisters Mary Ann Woods and Barbara Osborn, several nieces, and nephews and extended family. She attended the Hamman Church at Zahn's Corner, Waverly, and was a member of the Rebekah Lodge. Elizabeth was a loving and caring person who enjoyed her family, traveling, and attending the Pike County Senior Center. Funeral services will be conducted at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Ronnie Hines, officiating. Graveside services will follow at the Hamman Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
