Edith Mae Southworth

Edith Mae Southworth, age 85, of Piketon, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday January 11, 2022 at the Pavilion in Piketon, Ohio. She was born March 14, 1936 in Scioto County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Claude Montgomery and Rosie Lykins Montgomery. She was united in marriage February 3, 1956 to her husband Robert Southworth, who preceded her in death May 14, 2002­. Surviving are three sons, Robert (Brenda) Southworth of Waverly, Ohio, Dennis (Teresa) Southworth of Piketon, Ohio, and Timothy (Brenda) Southworth of Chillicothe, Ohio, four grandchildren, Brandi (Michael) Davis of Piketon, Ohio, Samuel Dallas Southworth of Beaver, Ohio, Anthony (Hayley) Southworth of Circleville, Ohio, and Bethany (Justin) Roll of Circleville, Ohio, great-grandchildren, Delaina Southworth, Asher Southworth, Declan Davis, Branleigh Davis, Eleanor Southworth, Lucas Roll, and Xzavier Southworth, one sister, Betty (Bob) Snyder of Wheelersburg, one brother, Robert (Sandy) Montgomery of Minford, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Dale Southworth, one sister, Ethel Harness, three brothers, Paul Montgomery, Carl Montgomery, and Harold Montgomery, and loving companion, William Robbins.

Mae had a very strong faith in God and loved spending her time with her family and friends and camping.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday January 14, 2022 with Pastor Kevin Greene officiating. Burial will follow in the Owl Creek Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
